ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Praise is to Allah for his exposed and concealed bounties at all times, and peace and blessings be upon His prophet and messenger Muhammad.

On this special occasion, I would like to express my gratitude, thanks and respect to Allah the almighty, my wife Lilik Yuniaka and my two sweet daughters Naila Azka Salsabila and Raisya Quwaiz Mumtaz (You Are All My Sunshine), my supervisors, lecturers and friends who provided their great guidance, comments, reviews, assistance, support, help and encouragement in accomplishing my study. 

First of all, I thank Allah lord of the world, who has caused me to grow in knowledge so I am able to complete my thesis. All the praises and thanks be to Allâh, the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinns and All that exists).

My special thanks are also due to my supervisors Prof. H. A. Chaedar Alwasilah, M.A., Ph.D. as my main supervisor and Bachrudin Musthafa, M.A., Ph.D as my co-supervisor for their strong encouragement, kindness, valuable advices and sustained critical support for the whole course of the study.

I also thank K.H. Helmy Abdul Mubin, Lc as the Head of Ummul Qurro’ Al-Islami Islamic Boarding School who has allowed me to conduct my study at UQI and Ustaz Arief and Ustazah Tatik as the Language Advisors who have helped me in collecting valuable data, as well as the last grade students who have provided their time to share with me. I really appreciate your constant helps and collaboration.
