4	Breaking the vocabulary/ Vocabulary drills	Everyday	After studying religious (Pengajian)at 20.30-20.50	Classroom	This program is held to enrich students’ vocabulary. The language movers give two or three vocabularies, then the students have to put them in complete sentence and write them in their special note. The UQI also published a vocabulary book which is called “Daily Vocabulary-a mini dictionary for students in Indonesia”. The vocabularies are tested at the end of every semester. 5	Public speaking club	Once in a week (Saturday night)	After Isya prayer at 20.00-21.30	Classroom	Students are grouped into several groups; each group consists of 40-45 students. The students are chosen in turn in every group. The students who are chosen to be speakers must prepare the speech before they deliver it. They have to make a speech transcript and pass it to the advisor to be corrected. Having corrected, the students then can practice and prepare themselves to speak in front of audience. 6	Conversation Practice	Twice in a week (Thursday night and Saturday night)	After Isya Prayer at 20.00-20.30	Play ground	The students are marched face to face in pairs, they are ordered to speak freely and loudly, they are asked to bring their dictionaries and notes as well. They can talk anything; the main thing is talking using English. To ensure students talk, they are divided into groups; each group consists of nine students. Each student must propose a question in turn to his friends and he will get nine answers from his friends. Thus, a group has ten questions with 90 answers.  The language movers are there, watching and going around the students. If the students encounter problems concerning with words, phrases, and sentences, they can directly ask the language movers who are always standby to cope with their problems. 7	English as means of instruction.	Three times in a week	Each subject has two hours (an hour is 45 minutes)	Classroom	Some subjects like History of Islam, Tafsir (Qur’anic interpretation and Hadits (Apostle’s Tradition) are taught in English as means of instruction. The teacher explains the subject in English and the students are ordered to talk about the subject in English as well. UQI has its own textbooks for certain class. 8	English Course and English Conversation Club (ECC). It is in particular for class one up to class four. The teachers are the language advisor themselves. The subjects include grammar, idiom and conversation. 9	The Wall Magazine	Once in a month	Every two weeks	In front of Hostels	The language advisors provide the wall magazine. It was published to give information to the students through English. The source of information is taken from the internet and Britanica software program. It is placed in the location which students can easily access and read it. 10	Audiovisual Program	Once in a week	Sunday morning after Shubuh Prayer at 05.30-07.00	Meeting Hall	The students are gathered in the meeting hall to watch a film or story in English. They have to write what they see and hear to report it in front of the students. It is because after watching film or story, the language advisor will choose one of them to retell the film or the story. 11	English Broadcasting	Everyday	Lunch time 13.00-14.00	Information center	The language movers broadcast some articles, story and structures. They tell them while students are having their lunch. 12	Language Laboratory	Everyday	14.00-17.00	Laboratory	The language lab has its own schedules for the students. It is because the lab has limited capacity and it only has 20 seats whereas the students are thousands.  Therefore, the students have to be queue up to use the lab in turn. 13	The Wall Dictionary	Once in a week (Sunday after Dzuhur)	All day long	Everywhere	The language advisors put some white boards which contain some idioms, phrases, and proverbs in certain places.
